BREAKING NEWS: Sombrero Running Events will now be the new ownership/ race directors for the awesome Oceans 26.2 Relay Race and we plan on opening up registration by next wednesday October 1, 2025 with a race date set for Saturday January 3rd, 2026. We hope to carry on the great tradition and vibe that Carrie Meng has cultivated the past 5 years in this event and continue with upholding the standards that she has established! I want to thank her for entrusting us to continue on with an event that she started during covid and has grown to being a sold out event!Myself and Emily Quintanilla will be the Co - Race Directors and will keep the same formats as before and will not really change much except we will have our patented SLOW A$$ AWARDS and a few other Rule 62 type shenanigans :) We plan on having it set up on the Ultrasignup platform as well. #oceans26.2 #elevateevents #sombrerorunningevents
