Come join us for an afternoon filled with discussions, workshops, and activities all centered around protecting our oceans. Learn about the importance of ocean conservation and how you can make a difference. Connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for preserving our marine ecosystems. This important event aims to advance the Rights of Nature while exploring Indigenous Marine Stewardship practices. A panel discussion featuring Indigenous leaders and legal experts will amplify the application of the Rights of Nature to Ocean ecosystems and share examples from Tribal Nations. An open Q&A session will invite community conversations on Ocean rights, leading into roundtable discussions that focus on actionable steps for expanding Indigenous Ocean protection areas. A buffet dinner will be provided and continued opportunities for networking and collaboration among participants. Let's come together to advocate for Ocean Rights and create a healthy planet for future generations. See you there!
Indigenous attendees will be eligible for a $150 gift card for their time and consideration for support of some travel costs within 100 miles of Boston.
