Westside Baptist Church is hosting our SECOND annual Soup Cook-Off and Dessert Raffle Fundraiser to raise funds to ship our Operation Christmas Child Shoebox gifts. We had THE BEST TIME last year getting our OCC Season going with you all and we cannot wait to do it again! On November 8th from 5-7 pm we will be having yummy soup, voting for our favorites, playing games, fellowshipping, winning some yummy desserts and raising money to go towards the OCC Ministry at WBC. How much: To get into the Fundraiser it is $6 per person, or $25 for a family of 5+
When you purchase your ticket at the door you will receive a ticket to vote for your favorite soup. Whichever soup has the most tickets at the end of the night wins a big, silly, Christmas Bow and an Amazon Gift Card — 2nd and 3rd place bows and treats will be awarded as well.
If you are bringing a soup, please make sure to bring all the fixin’s. If your soup needs chips or crackers, bring the chips or crackers. Cheese? Bring cheese! Bacon Bits? Bring ‘em! We will provide napkins, bowls, spoons and outlets for you to plug your Crock-Pot into. Please make sure all soups are at Westside Baptist Church by 4:30 pm night of our event. You can sign up to bring a soup in the Welcome Center, here on Facebook, or in Sunday School folders. Please sign up by October 25th.
For our Dessert Raffle, you can sign up to bring a dessert to raffle off. These will not be eaten during the event, but taken home. These desserts cannot be refrigerated during the event! Raffle tickets can be purchased inside the Fundraiser to vote for a Dessert you might want to take home and throughout the evening we will draw to find a winner for each dessert. If you would like to sign up to bring a Dessert you can sign up in the Welcome Center, here on Facebook, or in Sunday School folders. Please sign up by October 25th.
