YLS and the OCBA Diversity & Inclusion Committee invite you to an interactive panel discussion with local leaders from diverse backgrounds, who will share their personal stories and experiences that relate to facing adversity and observing/addressing issues with diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.
The issues we intend to address are disparities in employment opportunities and lack of diversity in decision-making positions within firms/companies. The panelists will provide their perspectives, answer questions, and offer advice to attendees.
We will encourage the panelists and attendees to engage in open discussion and share their personal thoughts, insights, and experiences as well as create action items that they can take away from the event to make their workplaces and organizations more inclusive environments.
