Alex Stephenson is a licensed professional counselor, licensure supervisor, and father of two.Alex received his Master of Science in counseling psychology from Northeastern State University in 2009, and because a licensed professional counselor in 2011.Since that time, he has spent fourteen years working in both tribal and community mental health.Alex has published thirteen children’s books on topics such as anger, self-esteem, emotional health, and sleep.Alex is passionate about using his children’s books to normalize emotional health - and bridging the gap in communication on the subject between adults and children.
Leah Callahan, LPC, LCMHC, NCC, has worked in the mental health field since 2010 and became a licensed clinician in 2016. Her experience spans clinical care, hospice, non-profit work, ministry, and within the military community. After 12 years on the East coast, her husband retired from the Marine Corps and she returned to her home state of Oklahoma with her family. In the summer of 2023, Leah launched her private practice, Callahan Counseling and Consulting, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she offers goal-oriented therapy tailored to individuals or groups, as well as education consultation. Leah has specialized training in EMDR, group facilitation, and expressive arts therapy, and she has dedicated the bulk of her career to supporting and working with neurodivergent and autistic individuals. Leah takes a neuro affirming, respectful, and neuroscience-informed approach to her work, infused with creativity and humor. She is passionate about meeting clients where they currently are, and fostering healing, growth, and a stronger sense of self through collaborative and strengths-based therapy. When Leah is not working, she is busy with her husband and children, ages 5 and 6, and active in her community. She enjoys tiny dogs, working out on her Peloton, thrifting, and being outdoors.
