OC Smack Down tuna tournament 2024. Captains meeting will be held Thursday June 6th at 6:30 pm TBD. Weight inns @ White Marlin Marina each day.💥CASH ONLY💥
Is a 2-day tournament you fish one of 2 days. You must pick your day Thursday night at captains meeting. If the two days weather forecast does not look good, we could push it to Sunday as a backup.
Boat entry fee is $1,000.00 for the heaviest tuna overall. 50/30/20
Cash Only !!!!!! must be paid at the captains meeting Thursday night before the tournament @ TBD 6:30 to 8 pm. It makes easier for us to have 100 bills then 20s.

2=TWT 3 fish stringer yellow fin by weight. $1,500.00
3=TWT heaviest Mahi Mahi. $1,500.00.

Rules:
1. ALL BOATS ARE WELCOME!!!
Private and charter boats are welcome.
2. Can't Pass the sea buoy till 2:30am. And limited to 100 nautical miles from OC inlet.
3. Lines in at 6am and lines out at 3:00pm
4. Scales open from 4:30pm-6:30pm if you're not in eyesight of the Scales by 6:30 pm you're out. No if's ands or butts.
All fish must come by boat no trucks or carts.
5. If no Mahi Mahi is caught in the 3rd TWT whoever is in that twt and has the heaviest tuna wins that money.
6. If there's a tie in weight in any division the winner will be whoever checked in first at the scales.
7. Troll only tournament.
8. Patapsco Open will take $100.00 per boat from entry fee and TWT's will pay out 100 percent.
9. No Green sticks allowed in the tournament.
10. Any Team hooked-up after lines out should notify another Tournament boat or Tournament officials.
11.The use of Omnidirectional Sonar will NOT be permitted prior to lines in.
12. BLUEFIN TUNA: All boats are fishing Recreational regulations NOT Charter Boat/Head Boat. You may keep 2 School Class fish 27" - 47" and 1 Large School Class fish 47” - under 73”. NO GIANT BLUEFIN TUNA 73” or greater. *These are current regulations and are subject to change at the Captain's Meeting.
a No culling Bluefin, fish may be measured by any technique suitable to the crew without causing harm to the fish. If the fish is gaffed or injured while attempting to measure, that fish shall be declared as a boated fish.
13. Any Team hooked-up after lines out should notify another Tournament boat or Tournament officials. You still need to be in sight of the weight scale by 6:30.
14.Fish will only get weighed one time at the scale to establish an agreed upon weight between the weighing official and contestant.
