About this Event
We will be planting with the Downers Grove Park District to add 15 native trees to their O'Brien Park. These trees will help increase the tree canopy cover and provide habitat and shade for local pollinators. We are partnering with SEASPAR! They will be attending the event with some of their day programs participants.
No experience is necessary and all agres are welcome! CRTI will provide training on how to properly plant and care for trees. Work alongside the CRTI team and other fantastic volunteers to help us dig holes, plant trees, mulch, and water.
- Please wear long pants and close toed shoes
- Dress for the weather- we will plant rain or shine!
- Make sure to bring a full water bottle, snack, and sunscreen. We will take care of everything else!
