Team Learning Among the Oaks invites the whole family to a springtime morning gathering to learn about and observe oak woodland animals in their natural habitat. Enjoy fresh air and the beauty of nature as we explore one of our favorite Regional Park properties.
After joining the group, we will set off for a 1 mile stroll under the oaks. With three species of oak trees and other native plants and trees in the understory, the park is a wonderful place to observe and learn about cute native animals including acorn woodpeckers and squirrels. With any luck, there will be fresh tracks and scat to investigate too!
We will bring all the tools and equipment needed to make this an easy to join in activity. Space is limited, so secure your tickets today. This event is FREE for you to attend thanks to the generous support of a JUSTIN Community Grant. We hope you can join us under the oaks!
