The OYAYA Cajun sisterhood is back!!!!The O-YAYAs - a divine sisterhood of music - will be delighting dancers and onlookers alike at the 8th of January Cajun Dance Party at Lapin Bleu.
Come on out to see our premier local ALL GIRL Cajun band play a mix of Cajun, Swamp Pop, and Zydeco two steps and waltzes for your dancing pleasure. The 1/8 sisterhood lineup includes Cathy on Cajun Accordion, Lily on Guitar, Heather and Soo on Fiddle, Michele on Tit Fer/Fretoire, Amy on Drums, and Joyce on vocals. Also, a special treat, will try to do a few "Sirens" songs that have a Cajun flare. And, of course Helen and Neil will be ready at 7pm for dance lesson (no partner necessary) and - fingers crossed - they will lead us through a line dance, too.
Who knows who else will make an appearance??!! You must come to see!
