NOTICE – Please read the guidelines below💛 Are you completely new, super experienced on roller skates, or somewhere in between?! Then come spend a cozy afternoon with the lovely skaters from O-Town Skate Collective. We’ll hold your hand if you need it.
🧡 The event is open to everyone, but it is primarily suited for 16+ if you are not accompanied by an adult — and there is absolutely NO upper age limit.
🧡 You don’t have to be a member of the club to show up. So if you already know us and just want to roll a bit (ahem maybe you’re a former roller derby player who wants to dust off the gear <3 ;) ) — we would love to see you!

‼️ THE BIG STUFF aka. THE RULES! (subject to change) ‼️
✅ No skills or experience required: Show up at any level! We’ll hold your hand and teach you everything from scratch.
✅ We skate on a flat wooden floor, and the goal of the event is to get people on roller skates in a social and cozy way.
✅ If you’re in the hall, you’re part of the training - no exceptions.
✅ No scooters/'løbehjul', no skateboards, no segways, no bikes, no Heelys, or anything that isn’t a roller skate.
✅ Be aware of your surroundings while skating in the hall and be considerate of other participants.
✅ You are welcome to use your own skates and safety gear as long as they are in good condition and won’t scratch or leave marks on the floor.
✅ If you have wheels on your feet, you must at minimum wear a helmet, knee pads, and wrist guards.
✅ It’s possible to borrow the club’s gear during the day. We can’t guarantee all sizes, so feel free to write us in advance to inquire about your size.

✅ Food and drinks are allowed in the hall, but please clean up after yourself and only eat away from the track.
✅ O-Town Skate Collective reserves the right to remove or ban anyone who displays unpleasant, threatening, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate behavior.
✅ Everyone over 18 years are welcome. 16+ are welcome but are recommended to have a legal guardian, and contact information must be provided in case of an accident. Under 16's are only allowed with a parent, guardian, or another responsible adult present.
✅ Smoking, vaping, drinking alcohol, or using intoxicating substances is not allowed. Please refer to SDU’s general smoking policy if you need at smoking break.
✅ O-Town is not responsible for any injuries sustained during the activities.
