Durham University Chamber Choir is proud to present:'O Great Beyond'
Our Epiphany concert will explore themes of love, death, and eternity through a range of works by British, German and American composers.
The first half explores the journey through mortality and remembrance, reflecting on loss through sacred works, featuring composers such as Cecilia McDowall and Kenneth Leighton, whilst the beauty of farewells is captured in contemporary compositions by Richard Rodney Bennett and Healey Willan. The second half will transition into themes of love, centred around Thomas LaVoy’s deeply moving piece ‘O Great Beyond’.�
The choir is excited to perform in the incredible Durham Cathedral Chapter House, and we hope to see many of you there.
