[EN]Some changes in the space-time continuum have indeed caused the February Geek Culture Quiz to seemingly happen in early March but such things can be expected to happen from time to time.
Even if the date has slightly changed from the regular schedule, one thing that hasn't is the content of the quiz. So in the usual manner, we will have four rounds of questions of all sorts of geeky topics (well, maybe not wrestling this time).
The top three teams participating in-person will be rewarded prizes but there will be a bunch of raffle prizes between all partitipating teams, including everyone participating remotely.
Our glorious new spring season for both the Geek Cup and Shadow Cup will also continue in February!
After one quiz down, the Geek Cup has had a quite an interesting start as The Quiz Marillion! have taken the first place, followed up by the reigning champions Replikantit on second and sharing the third is Geralt of Trivia and Kirves ja Kivi.
The Shadow Cup on the other hand might have a tinge of familiarity as the forever champions Wrong on the Internet have the lead once again. Dooley Decimal System are currently holding the second place with third been shared by Ada Ankat and Geekalicious.
It is still early days in both cup competitions, so there is a change or even a likelyhood that the situation might move into the new directions as the season progresses!
Once again, remember to adjust your calendars to the new date for the quiz and see you then!

Muutokset aika-avaruusjatkumossa ovat tosiaankin aiheutaneet helmikuun Nörttikulttuurivisan päivämäärän siirtymisen näennäisesti maaliskuun puolelle mutta tälläistä on odotettavissa tapahtuman aika ajoin.
Vaikka päivämäärä on muuttunut normaalista aikataulusta hieman, niin visan sisältö on kuitenkin pysynyt samana. Joten tuttuun tapaan luvassa on jälleen neljä kierrosta kysymyksiä kaikenlaisista nörttiaiheista (paitsi, ehkä ei tällä kertaa showpainista).
Kolme parasta paikallaolevaa joukkuetta palkitaan mutta luvassa on tietenkin myös arvontapalkintoja kaikkien osallistuneiden joukkueiden, myös etäilijöiden, kesken arvottavaksi.
Myös kevätkauden uljaat loistavat cup-kilpailut jatkuvat helmikuussa!
Yhden visan jälkeen, Nörtticupin puolella on nähty mielenkiintoinen aloitus sillä The Quiz Marillion! on napannut itselleen ensimmäisen sijan, hallitsevien mestareiden Replikanttien seuratessa heitä kakkospaikalta. Kolmanta sijaa taas jakavat keskenään toistaiseksi Geralt of Trivia sekä Kirves ja Kivi.
Varjocupin puolella tosin sijoituksissa on nähtävissä hitunen tutunoloisia sävyjä, sillä ikuiset mestarit Wrong on the Internet on jälleen ottanut alkuun itselleen johtoaseman. Tällä hetkellä kakkossijalta löytyy Dooley Decimal System ja kolmatta sijaa jakavat Ada Ankat sekä Geekalicious.
Kyseessä on kuitenkin molempien cup-kilpailujen uusien kausien alku, joten on hyvin mahdollista ellei jopa todennäköistä että sijoitukset tulevat kehittymään uusiin suuntiin kun kausi etenee!
Joten muistutuksena vielä kertaalleen, muistakaa päivittää oikea päivämäärä kalenteriinnne ja nähdään visassa!
