About this Event
Come and join us for our fifth-year celebration! Enjoy viewing curated riding adventures are documented through print and photography, and join us for the launch of our limited edition Analogue Bookazine.
This exhibition is a collection of our favourite adventures. We aim to showcase some of our best work. I say ‘our’ because it’s a creative collaboration that makes this possible — the tiresome work of photographers, designers, and sub-editors; and the relentless support of friends and family.
This book Analogue, buries the belief that print is dead. Nothing replicates the immersion that print can offer. The fleeting world of the digital realm is contrary to the slower pace you engage with when holding a print publication in your hands. With so many of these adventures digitally stored away, I could only truly showcase this fine work via a print publication. Heck, a small tile image on a screen or a phone doesn’t really offer the same inspiration. Analogue brings storytelling to life with ink and beautiful paper. The experience print provides is invaluable.
Independent publishing magazines nowadays, without the support of external publishing houses or publishing groups, are scarce, however, our passion for print publishing and authentically documenting riding adventures along with the unrelenting cycle industry and reader support make us remain stronger than ever. And for that, we want to thank you and celebrate with you.
The exhibition runs from 5th to 6th October (7am – 2pm) with an opening night on the 5th of October (6pm – 8pm) at Allpress Studio, 8 Drake Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland. The opening night is free to attend, and there’ll be drinks, nibbles a talk from the editor-in-chief along with an opportunity to be amongst the first to purchase a limited edition copy of the Analogue Bookazine.
