With fall approaching, that also means it’s Chili season! With that, NYS has decided to host its first annual Chili Cook-Off! On Friday, Oct. 4th from 5-8pm, we’re looking for THE BEST chili recipes from either individuals, organizations or restaurants to take the prize as the best chili in the Twin Ports!
Entires:
• Individuals: $25
•Organizations: $50
Restaurants: $100
*There will also be a suggested donation of $5 for the public to come and try the chilis, as this event will double as a fundraiser for our NYS youth!
You must RSVP by Sep. 16th at [email protected] to participate, along with your payment. Checks can be made out to Neighborhood Youth Services, Inc.
You’ll also need your own table, cooking wear, utensils, and bowls to serve out of. As well as disinfectant wipes, gloves, and small extension cord.
The categories we’re judging will be: Most Unique, Best Tasting, and Spiciest chili!
