It’s Date Night at The Met! Come join us for a social night in NYC with the 20th-Century Korean Art special for the 20th of September.

Every Friday and Saturday night, it’s Date Night at The Met! Bring a friend, a partner, or fly solo with the Friday evening of live music, drinks and special exhibitions: the 20th-century art in Korea special for the upcoming 20th!

What to expect:
This upcoming Friday, September 20th, expand your horizon of knowlege on the Korean Art, brought to you by The Met's exhibition and Joan Kee, Judy and Michael Steinhardt Director, Institute of Fine Arts at New York University.
Come for the Korean Art exhibition and stay for live music, drink and an assortment of light fare in the American Wing Cafe and the Petrie Court Cafe(closes at 8pm). Met Members at the Evening Hours level and above are welcome to enjoy small bites menu in the Balcony Lounge (reservations recommended, closes at 7:45pm).
Where, in What Form, Shall We Meet Again?: On 20th-Century Art in Korea
Participants will better understand how different approaches were taken among featurered artists and observe the abundances and endurances in Korean art's 20th century. Space is limited; first come, first served.

Join a librarian for an after-hours tour of The Met’s art research library, Thomas J. Watson Library, including a behind-the-scenes peek at the library stacks. At the end of the tour, spend some time viewing a selection of books by Hispanic/Latine artists in celebration of Hispanic/Latine Heritage Month.
