The doors open at 6:30 PM at our usual meeting place: Puget Sound Yacht Club, 2321 North Northlake Way, in Seattle. Please bring your favorite potluck items to share.
Our presentation on the topic of Coatings - Topside and Interior begins at 7:00 PM. Our presenter will be Dave Atwater, who is the PNW representative for Azko Nobel, manufacturer of Interlux paints, among other brands. Dave is a Marine & Protective Coating specialist, with deep and practical experience in the world of marine paint.
Topics will include:
Different top coat chemistry and features and benefits of each
Typical coatings stack for the home builder
Typical stack for repainting over aged gelcoat / paint
Care, feeding, and repair of each
