FEBRUARY HALF TERM 2025
NW1 is proud to announce our second PERFORMERS TOOLKIT event, a series professional workshops with notable theatre names during the February Half Term. These sessions will provide intensive theatre training for students aged 7 to 18.
We have curated an inspiring 3 day programme drawing on our West End contacts to bring students a fun packed, educational and industry-relevant experience.
Mornings will be spent with our in-house team from 10.00am to Noon and the afternoons with our visiting West End contributor from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. Visiting professionals for our February Performers Toolkit will be TIM DRIESEN (Disney's The Lion King; Jersey Boys; Rock Of Ages; Take That musical Never Forget), and NUNO QUEIMADO (Hamilton; Jesus Christ Superstar).
DAY 2: TIM DRIESEN - LION KING MASTERCLASS - AGES 11-18
TUESDAY 18TH FEBRUARY - 10.00am to 4.00pm
TIM DRIESEN has recently finished a stint in the London Production of Disney’s The Lion King, with which he toured the UK from 2019 to 2024 as standby for Zazu, Scar, Timon & Pumbaa, after a record-breaking run of the same show in Holland. On top of performing 4 very different characters, he was also the Kids Director for the tour.
Tim’s other credits include: Frankie Valli in the first ever UK tour of Jersey Boys. West End productions of Rock Of Ages, Mamma Mia, Bat Boy and the Take That musical Never Forget in which he originated the part of Adrian Banks/Mark Owen. Starlight Express, Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
TIM DRIESEN will be leading a LION KING Masterclass that explore animal physicality and choreography from the show for students aged 11-18.
