'Soft-Feel' is the guiding principle of Cowboy Dressage, and Jen Hawkins is an endorsed Cowboy Dressage Clinician and Educator with valuable knowledge developed from a lifetime in the equine world. She combines her background in Classical Dressage with Australian Horsemanship and 40 years of dedicated breeding and handling of youngsters.Open to all levels of experience, this one-day clinic is an opportunity to learn more about soft-feel and grow your partnership with your horse.
The clinic will focus on lateral movements and transitions to develop better engagement, balance and 'Soft Feel', including a session on ground skills to support these developments in both horse and rider.
Riding in the clinic includes two test rides at a 'Gathering Rehearsal Day' on Sunday, 12th, with written feedback and a personal follow-up tele-mentoring session with Jen. The day is a welcome opportunity to familiarise your horse with the added stimulation of the judge's table at C. Choose from Walk-Jog 1, Walk-Jog 3, and Walk-Jog-Lope 2, and you can repeat the same test. The opportunity to learn to scribe for those interested offers great insights into the process, and scribing skills for future Gatherings.

All levels of riders and breeds of horses are welcome. Only 10 rider positions are available.
