About this Event
This quarterly class will provide nutrition education, food preparation demonstrations, and food sampling to current cancer treatment patients, survivors, caregivers, and their friends/family.

Presenter: Christine Smith, RN
Christine “Crissie” Smith is a registered nurse, health coach, and Food for Life instructor. She stays busy meeting one-on-one with clients who desire guidance and support as they discover successful steps toward their health goals. Crissie also teaches a Food Rx: Using Food as Medicine class, inspiring participants to shop, prepare, and enjoy the benefits of a whole food plant-based diet.
Crissie and Suzannah Bozzone, MD, co-own their lifestyle medicine practice, True Health Journey. They work together with clients to focus on and treat the root cause of disease, empowering them with the knowledge, support, and tools they need to create a healthier, more vibrant life. Crissie takes the time to personalize plans for each client. As a health coach, she believes that finding the path to sustainable lifestyle habits is in helping clients make subtle changes over time in a journey to lifelong health and wellness.
