Learning outcomes/ objectives
- To Understand Malnutrition and the consequence of malnutrition
- To understand how to complete MUST screening
- To feel confident to complete MUST screening
- Understand how to calculate MUST using the BAPEN
- Understand when it is appropriate to refer to the Community Dietetic Service
- Understand what information to include on a nutrition & hydration care plan
- To identify the local policies for preventing & treating people at high risk of malnutrition and the importance of documentation
- To understand ‘the food first approach’
Please note: The minimum number of participants for the course to take place is 5 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, the Department will contact the participants to cancel the session.
