The Cancer support groups offered by Wairarapa Cancer Society are a great place for people navigating cancer to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can share their emotions, experiences, and knowledge.
Not only do these support groups offer a sense of belonging and understanding, but they also provide practical advice, encouragement, and hope during what can be a difficult and challenging time.
This group provides an inclusive and open environment for individuals to attend and participate in the discussion topic. There is no pressure or expectation for attendees to stay for the entire open floor support session.
Structure of group meetings as follows.
