Nutrient Dense Cooking
Join Lauren Maples, homesteader, from scratch cook and longtime teacher for an introduction to Nutrient Dense Food. Nutrient Dense cooking is full of delicious nutrition and made with all whole food ingredients. This workshop will provide an overview of these concepts and include several recipes to introduce these ideas into your daily cooking rotation. Basic cooking technique is ideal but not necessary. Participants will share a nutrient dense meal and have some snacks to take home.
Lauren hasover 20 years of teaching experience for children and adults including working with over 1000 NYC school teachers as a professional development instructor. She is a homesteader, gardener and farmer, and a daily from scratch cook. She has eaten and cooked exclusively nutrient dense food for more than 10 years and operates a small farm store of nutrient dense products on her homestead, Humble Heart, in Morrisville.
