Reading stories with your child is a wonderful way to strengthen your bond, enhance language development, spark imagination, and stimulate cognitive growth. However, some children struggle to understand what they read.
Join us as Ms Geraldine Low, an educational psychologist with over twenty years of experience in supporting students with learning difficulties and special needs, shares tips on guiding purposeful reading, enhancing comprehension, and making story time enjoyable. The talk will be followed by a storytelling session conducted by a librarian.
The talk is primarily aimed at parents of children aged 6 to 8, but all parents are welcome to attend.
