This 3-hour workshop is designed to provide parents and caregivers with practical strategies and emotional support to help children who have experienced attachment trauma. We will explore the impact of attachment trauma on children's development, identify common behaviours associated with attachment difficulties, and learn evidence-based techniques to foster secure attachment.
The Susan Vickers Foundation actively promotes awareness around the issues of trauma associated with adoption and fostering, striving to create a more equitable future for all care-experienced children. By bridging gaps in support and resources, it endeavors to turn personal struggles into collective strength, helping young people discover their passions and build brighter futures.
