Go green with us for our Nurture Mother Nature: Earth Day Celebration and Market! In honor of Earth Day on April 22nd, we will be hosting a local clean-up effort, donation and recycling opportunities, fundraising for a local eco-friendly organization, and a market featuring handmade goods by local artisans and vendors!Join us bright and early for a Community Clean Up event, details to come, where we will meet to collect trash and help to clean up our community. Swing by the studio for all kinds of awesome happenings! The kiddos can enjoy some Earth-friendly arts and crafts at our kids table while you shop at our market, featuring handmade goods from local artisans and vendors.
From now until the Celebration, we will be collecting the following items to recycle and donate:
- Gently loved books to donate to the Little Library at Abram’s Park and the local “Friends of the Library” to support our Public Library
- Gently used towels and blankets to donate to the Northwest Florida Great Dane Rescue
- Clean soup cans to recycle as a fun craft
- Clean prescription and medication bottles (with the labels removed!) to donate to Matthew Ministries
You can drop off your donation items at the studio or by coordinating with Lauren Brunke.
We will be raising money through donations and raffle ticket purchases to support Earth Ethics, Inc. This Pensacola-based organization’s mission is to “educate the public and increase awareness about environment and social issues.” They are dedicated to “helping the environment as well as the animals which inhabit it" right here in our community.
This event is FREE and open for all to attend!
