Come volunteer at the OCF Community Nursery. Learn about the care stewardship of trees that thrive locally in our valley.
About this Event

We will start our day with a tour of our Community Nursery. Then, volunteers will work together with OCF AmeriCorps members to perform tasks around the nursery. This is a moderate-high intensity event.

No experience necessary, just a willingness to work with others while enjoying the outside. Great opportunity to gain hands-on nursery and landscape experience while supporting a good cause!

This event is all ages, for other possible events check out our eventbrite page!

Parking Details: Street parking is available on McKendrie St and Ruff Dr. Please avoid parking along Spring St, which is known to be checked, and vehicles parked there will be ticketed.

COVID- 19 Protocols: You should not report to your volunteer shift if you are feeling ill or are showing any symptoms of COVID-19. CDC-approved face coverings and social distancing are no longer required while volunteering with Our City Forest.

Disclaimer: At this volunteer event, you may be working with individuals who are unvaccinated. Please use your discretion in taking the proper precautions.

Volunteers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to volunteer.

Service work forms can be submitted electronically to [email protected], or brought with you to your volunteer shift.

*** If you have already submitted your forms, there is no need to send another copy. Thank you!
