Join us on Saturday, May 10 for our 5th Annual Nurse on the Run 5K and 1 mile walk to support a great cause - professional development for our Bayhealth nurses. We promise this will be the best one yet with music, food and refreshments at the finish line. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 10 at Rail Haus in Dover. Bib pickup and registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9:00 a.m. Sign up as an individual for either the 5K or the 1-mile walk (untimed) and invite your family and friends too. All participants will receive a race t-shirt and can enjoy the post-race snacks and refreshments.
Nurse on the Run raises funds that directly support professional development for our nurses. This includes scholarships to cover the cost of advanced training or specialty certifications. Everyone in the healthcare sphere – hospitals, healthcare professionals and patients –benefits from highly-trained nurses with advanced certifications. And it’s been shown that certified nurse’s lead to improved patient outcomes.
