The fox spirit Aya stirs again. Her portals are not just doors — they are thresholds into ritual, memory, and movement. Every Tuesday, Portal 120 opens, and with it, Sub-Bass Shinobis becomes the dojo: a place where broken beats, low frequencies, and discipline collide.
For Vol. 002, Aya summons the OGs of the Underground Electronic Music Scene. These aren’t just DJs. They are radio voices, record-makers, desert rave instigators, and warehouse pioneers — figures whose fingerprints shaped today’s EDM events and the sound of the West Coast, both Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
This isn’t nostalgia. It’s lineage. It’s loyalty. It’s the underground alive, called back into the portal to remind us why we move.

JEFF BOMB (Club 87.7 FM)
Host of The Vegas Bomb Squadon 87.7 FM, curator of the Bomb Shelter Podcast, and contributor to The Classics mix series on Pulse FM. Known for his house and club sets, Jeff has always supported Jesse Kung Pow with guest features across radio. Tonight, he enters the dojo out of respect and loyalty — proving that true community transcends genre.
JOSE 2 HYPE (Club 87.7 FM)
Production Director and host on the OHM (Only House Music) Mix-show on Club 87.7 FM and a Vegas original whose 90s warehouse and desert raves and releases on UC (Underground Construction) “Chicago” and 2 Hype Records helped place the city on the electronic music map. Jose 2 Hype is both a builder of the old scene and a voice on today’s airwaves, bridging eras in the dojo.
SEAN “BIG DADDY” PERRY (Insomniac OG)
A creative force in LA’s 1992 underground, Sean Perry was listed on Pasquale Rotella’s first event, Unity Groove — a moment that seeded what would become Insomniac. He appeared on historic flyers for Pandemonium, Ultrasound, and Looney Land, shaping early LA rave culture. His presence reconnects today’s Shinobi mission to the birth of Insomniac and California’s underground.
BUSHIDO BROWN (NFBN)
A tactician of jungle and DnB in Las Vegas, Bushido Brown represents the resilience of the local scene. Known through NFBN for pushing broken beats and underground drum & bass, he embodies the discipline of the Shinobi code.
🥷 Resident Bass Ninjas (Nuphonic Rhythm)
METICULOUS (fka MuthaPluckas) — Multi-genre tactician, former host of DNB.tv, known for surgical sets spanning dubstep, DnB, and trap.
KUNG POW (aka Jesse KP) — Open-format bass disruptor weaving breakbeats, drum & bass, glitch, dubstep, trap, and beyond.
