Nuorten ilmasto- ja luontohuippukokous järjestetään 23.10.2021 hybriditapahtumana eli Helsingin messukeskuksessa ja etänä!Syksyllä 2021 maailma valmistautuu sekä YK:n biodiversiteetti- että ilmastoneuvotteluihin ja siksi haluammekin neuvottelujen alla taas kerran koota nuoria suomalaisia yhteen oppimaan ympäristökriiseistä alan huippuasiantuntijoilta, inspiroitumaan vaikuttamisesta sekä erityisesti tuomaan nuorten ääntä esiin. Kokouksessa alle 29-vuotiaat nuoret pääsevät kuulemaan asiantuntijapuheenvuoroja, pohtimaan ratkaisuja ilmaston ja luonnon ongemiin yhdessä toisten nuorten kanssa työpajoissa ja tutustumaan tapoihin vaikuttaa.
Nuorten ilmasto- ja luontohuippukokous on tapahtuma nuorilta nuorille. Tapahtuman projektiryhmässä on edustettuna Nuorten ilmasto- ja biodiversiteettidelegaatit, Nuorten Agenda2030 -ryhmä, Fridays for Future Suomi, Nuorten Mock COP26 -ilmastosopimus ja Global Youth Biodiversity Network.
Tapahtumaa sponsoroivat Euroopan solidaarisuusjoukot ja Pohjolan Voima sekä tukee nuorisoalan kattojärjestö Allianssi.
Ilmoittautuminen tapahtumaan aukeaa syyskuun alkupuolella, seuraathan siis kanaviamme!
Tiedotamme samalla myös majoitus- ja kuljetusvaihtoehdoista. Tapahtuma on maksuton ja pääosin suomenkielinen.

The Climate -and Nature Summit for Young People will be held on the 23rd of October 2021 as a hybrid event, in person at Helsinki Messukeskus as well as remotely through the use of streaming services.
In the autumn of 2021, the world is preparing for UN talks concerning biodiversity and the climate. The aim of this summit is to bring together young Finns to learn more about the climate crisis from experts in the field. We want to inspire young people to become involved in projects and decisions influencing the future of the climate, while also making their own voices heard. In the form of workshops, all participants under 29 years old will have the chance to hear talks by experts, and together reflect on solutions to the problems our nature and climate are facing, both now and in the future.
The climate -and nature summit for young people is an event for young people, by young people. The project team is represented by youth climate -and nature delegates, the group Nuorten Agenda 2030, Fridays for Future Suomi, the Mock COP26 -climate declaration and Global Youth Biodiversity Network. The event is made possible by support from European Solidarity Corps, Pohjolan Voima and Allianssi.
Registration for the event opens at the start of September, please stay tuned for more info! At the same time as the registration opens, we will also provide more information about accommodation and transport alternatives for participants. The event is free and primarily held in Finnish.
