Nungay Night is a rare and special event that creates a safe and valued space for First Nations LGBTQIA+ artists and performers to take part in the Feast Festival 2024 in an event that recognises this community.Nungay Night is happening on SATURDAY NOV 16 at 8pm at The LAB at ILA, Adelaide – Kaurna Country. This event is a part of the 2024 Feast Program.
Nungay Night will give an opportunity to new artists to take to the stage and will invite back some established much loved artists.
Everybody deserves to be loved and celebrated and respected and that’s what Nungay night does. Blak and Queer people are the most vulnerable in our community and vulnerable people need to be protected and have space to feel seen, recognised and celebrated.
This year marks 25 years since Nungay Night began and we are seeking financial support to engage artists, pay for the venue and promote this one-off annual event.
When you come to Nungay night not just for a party but to be educated, meet new people, learn and of course be entertained.
Nungay Night will include some new star talents and some headline acts.
Nungay Night is more than just an event, it symbolizes safety, liberation, community, empowerment and love!
