NUMBER JUNKY – ALBUM LAUNCH TourThe critically acclaimed jazz trio Number Junky from Perth launches their much anticipated second album with WA tour. This inventive Danish/Australian unit has become known for combining exciting rhythms and odd-time signatures with lyrical melodies and lush harmony. Their latest offering, ‘Birak’, was recorded on the back of the trio’s recent tour of the Eastern States and is the follow up album to their successful debut ‘Earth Matters’ from 2022. They dive deeper into exploring busy rhythmic minefields and lustrous sounds where hip grooves and interplay meets masterful post-bop.
The concert at Denmark Arts will be the trio's first visit to the region.
