About this Event
This year, the first day of the NSS on December 7th, we will cerebrate the 100th birthday of Professor William Jackson Schull honoring his life's work on biological effects of radiation throughout his career. By visiting historical studies on nuclear issues, we will learn how to prepare for the potential nuclear incidents in the future. On December 8th and the morning of DEcember 9th, we will cover a variety of nuclear security issues from the advanced scientific research to policies. In the afternoon on December 9th, we will have lightening talk session for students. Organizers strongly encourage students to submit their proposals to speak at the session.
