Ramadan Mubarak! Ramadan, the month in the Islamic calendar when Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, is a time for sharing, giving and being in community with others. Come together with your friends and Roxbury neighbors to break fast with the Nubian Markets family and other community leaders on Tuesday, March 26th. Free Halal Dinner and refreshments will be served.
Iftar is the meal Muslims have when breaking the fast in the month of Ramadan. We will offer dates and chai to break the fast together, hear about the importance of Ramadan, and offer dinner and dessert for all.
Come together this Tuesday to share conversation, language, food, culture and religion during this holy month of Ramadan.
