On Friday 10 October 2025, the Golden Gavel returns – where young lawyers test their comedic chops, improvisation skills, and nerves of steel in front of a live audience. This year we're also inviting old *ahem... more seasoned members of the profession to flaunt there skills and show the young ones they've still got it.
No experience necessary – just bravery, quick thinking, and a willingness to sacrifice your dignity (tastefully).
💡 Warning: Fame, glory, and eternal bragging rights await and for the top young lawyer - a spot at the National Golden Gavel Competition in Brisbane in November!
