Born from a romance between Belgium and Greece, Ntoumos crossed paths with melodies at a young age,using the trumpet as his means of expression.
After winning first prize in classical and jazz at the conservatory, he embarked on a journey through various
musical cultures, which helped him find his own unique universe. He blends Greek popular music with
sounds from the East, the Balkans, hip-hop, funk, electro, drum & bass, and jazz, creating a fusion of styles.
This distinctive sound has taken him on travels to Brazil and London, where he has played and recorded
alongside international artists on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, developing tones that reflect
a ‘modern’ world in search of identity. His music addresses the challenges and reflections that resonate with
everyone.
A few years later, he composed his own masterpiece, shifting from the applause of the stage to the smiles
of a child. Now based in Belgium, he continues to perform, explore, and refine techniques that define his
artistic direction: that of universal values.
This time, it’s through both his trumpet and voice, speaking to children as well as adults, that he conveys
messages of understanding, tolerance, family, emotions, and inspiration for change, breaking down cultural
barriers.
