Het Nollywood Travel Film Festival (NTFF) is een reizend filmfestival gericht op het promoten van films van Nigerianen over de hele wereld. De afgelopen zeven jaar werd de NTFF gehouden in steden als Toronto, Atlanta, Hamburg, Athene, Londen, Berlijn, Glasgow, Helsinki, Oslo en Dublin. Van 5-7 oktober vindt het Nollywood Travel Film Festival plaats in Amsterdam, met Melkweg Cinema als hoofdbasis. Gedurende de drie dagen vertoont het festival vijf speelfilms en tien korte films gemaakt door Nollywood, de bloeiende filmindustrie van Nigeria.

Africadelic is een jaarlijks festival in Amsterdam ter ere van Afrikaanse culturele creativiteit, diversiteit en activisme. Elk jaar in mei, op en rond International Afrikadag, biedt Africadelic een week vol concerten, films en talks. Het festival is een ode aan het Afrikaanse continent en zijn wereldwijde diaspora, en toont de rijkdom en impact die Afrodescendants hebben op de mondiale cultuur en samenleving. The Dutch edition of the Nollywood Travel Film Festival will start on Thursday, October 5, with the opening film ????, ???? ??? ????? ?????? (2023). This new Nollywood drama tells the story of a recently divorced woman who embarks on a journey of self-discovery to find out what she really wants. The Nollywood Travel Film Festival (NTFF) is a traveling film festival committed to the promotion of films by Nigerians around the world. For the past seven years, the NTFF has been held in cities such as Toronto, Atlanta, Hamburg, Athens, London, Berlin, Glasgow, Helsinki, Oslo and Dublin. From October 5-7, the Nollywood Travel Film Festival will take place in Amsterdam, with Melkweg Cinema as its main base. Over the three days, the festival screens five feature films and ten short films created by Nollywood, Nigeria's booming film industry.

Africadelic is an annual festival in Amsterdam celebrating African cultural creativity, diversity and activism. Each year in May, on and around International Africa Day (May 25), Africadelic offers a week full of concerts, films and talks. The festival is an ode to the African continent and its global diaspora, showcasing the richness and impact that Afrodescendants have on global culture and society.
