**DAY 1:
Our journey begins in Darwin, where we'll pick you up at 9:00 am and start our expedition to Manbulloo Homestead, a working cattle property and holiday park. Indulge in the authentic rural lifestyle while staying in comfortable cabins.
**DAY 2, prepare for a day of natural wonders. We'll visit the enchanting Bitter Springs, where you can relax and swim in the crystal-clear thermal waters. Next, we'll head to Mataranka Springs, renowned for its thermal pools and lush surroundings. In the evening, be captivated by an exciting Outback Show in Katherine. Retire for the night in comfortable cabins.
JATBULA TRAIL - HIKING / OPTIONAL SIGHTSEEING INSTEAD OF HIKING - see below:
**DAYS 3 to 7: will be dedicated to an exhilarating hiking experience along the Jatbula Trail. This is one of Australia's most famous and bucket list hikes. So, lace up your hiking boots and embark on a remarkable journey through breathtaking landscapes, immersing yourself in the raw beauty of the outback. Each day, you'll hike along the Jatbula Trail, discovering awe-inspiring vistas, swimming in pristine waterfalls, and discovering ancient rock art sites. As night falls, you'll set up camp under the starry skies, creating unforgettable memories around the campfire with fellow adventurers.
*****SIGHTSEEING OPTION (not for hikers): don't want to hike. No problem, come sightseeing. You'll spend your extra days visiting more of Litchfield NP and Kakadu. We might even drive out to the infamously delightfully quirky Daly Waters for a night or 2. - There is an extra charge to do the sightseeing option.
**On DAY 8: we'll travel to Mount Bundy Station, one of the oldest working cattle farms in the Northern Territory. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the region while staying in the Farm House Property, where you'll have the opportunity to share rooms and exchange stories with fellow travellers.
**DAY 9: is dedicated to exploring the magnificent Litchfield National Park. Delight in the beauty of nature as you swim in three major falls, creating unforgettable memories of this extraordinary day. In the evening, relax in comfortable cabins, ensuring a restful stay.
**DAY 10: takes us to the Top End Safari Camp, where you'll experience the untamed wilderness up close. Enjoy a thrilling crocodile cruise, savor a delicious Barramundi Burger lunch, and take in breathtaking views during a helicopter tour. Witness the impressive crocodile feeding and embark on an exciting airboat tour of the croc breeding grounds.
Our tour concludes in Darwin after a visit to the Top End Safari Camp.

Buying our lunch at these stops helps the local commerce and tourism in these regions which is a large part of the community’s revenue. Stopping for lunch also allows us to stop, immerse and surround ourselves in these environments. It gives us a chance to talk to the locals and other travellers and will be a large part of our tour dynamics every day. You are welcome to bring along a packed dry lunch.
