About this Event
Join us for the launch of the NSLHD Planetary Health Framework 2024-27 and a showcase of the exciting work being led at Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and across NSW Health to promote planetary health and improve the environmental sustainability of healthcare in NSW.
Hear from speakers including NSLHD's Net Zero Clinical Leads, key people working on planetary health, sustainability and climate risk within NSW Health, and new research from notable academics in the field.
A full program will be released soon.
Tickets are available for attending the event in-person at the Kolling Institute at Royal North Shore Hospital (limited spaces) or online.
About NSLHD:
NSLHD is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2035 for the emissions we control directly, with a 70-80% reduction by 2030.
We are also one of the first health organisations in NSW to set an ambitious Scope 3 emissions reduction target. For the emissions we don't control but can influence, we aim to achieve net zero by 2050, with a 50% reduction by 2035.
In 2021, we launched our inaugural Planetary Health Framework and have made progress towards improving the sustainability of our services and operations over the last three years. A new Planetary Health Framework 2024-27 will be launched at this event.
