About this Event
About The Training
Controlling traffic through and around work areas is one of the most important – and dangerous – operations in construction maintenance. This National Safety Council Work Zone Flagger half day workshop is a comprehensive, skill-building course that meets federal industry guidelines. The course is a must for novice traffic work zone flaggers who need certification, and serves as a refresher for experienced flaggers who need to be recertified. The course includes both classroom and hands-on training with focus on proper flagging procedures and use of required equipment, in both one and two-person flagging operations, teaching roadway personnel to provide safe passage of traffic through and around temporary work zones.
