About this Event
FreshStart is a program of the National Society of Black Engineers – Austin Professionals (NSBE-AP). We use interactive workshops to introduce multiple forms of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to 6th – 12th graders. This year’s theme is “From Vision to Venture: Engineering Impact,” where we will encourage students to see themselves not just as learners, but as creators of solutions that drive change. You do not want to miss this opportunity for both students AND parents.

Student Track Schedule:
- 9:00 am - breakfast, welcome & ice breakers
- 9:30 am - students get in their assigned groups
- 10am - 1st session
- 11am - 2nd session
- 12pm - lunch & keynote speaker
- 1pm - 3rd session
- 2pm - 4th and last session
- 3pm - closing remarks, awards, recognition
Parent Track Schedule:
- 10am, 11am, and 1pm ONLY.
- 10am - 1st parents session
- 11am - 2nd parents session
- 12pm - lunch & keynote speaker
- 1pm - 3rd parents session
- 3pm - closing remarks, awards, recognition
