The group will depart at 9:00 AM on July 27 from the Pennsy Trail parking lot in Greenfield, behind the Hancock County Courthouse, heading west first. The ride will also include a stop at the Historic National Road Interpretive Panel at SR 9 and US 40. At the end of the ride, the Pennsy Trail Art & Music Festival will be in full swing & there are a number of restaurants nearby for post-ride refreshments.
For additional miles that afternoon, riders are welcome to drive the short distance west to the CR 400 W Pennsy Trail trailhead and bike as much of Hancock County's paved Pennsy Trail to Cumberland and Indy as they like.
