This course meets & exceeds the MD HQL requirements. We cover MD Firearms Law & the Application Processes for obtaining a handgun & HQL. Instruction will include: gun safety rules, Home Firearm Safety, proper operation of revolvers & semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge & selection, pistol selection & storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection & maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Students will complete live-fire personalized training with NRA Certified Instructors.Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Exam & receive an NRA course completion certificate. Students may bring owned guns & ammo or we can provide.
