This course teaches beginning reloaders - or those interested in reloading - the basic Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges. This is not a live-fire course; no shooting is involved, and no firearms are permitted in the classroom for reloading classes. Do not bring any firearms or ammunition. Each student is taught reloading safety; centerfire cartridge components; using the reloading manual and reloading data; equipment; and the metallic cartridge reloading process. Students receive the NRA Guide to Reloading handbook, the Basic Reloading Student Exam, a course completion certificate, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure.Visit the registration listing on our website for details specific to this course and/or to register:

AIM-COMM, the Alaska Interior Marksmanship Committee, a non-profit 401(C)(3) corporation, and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) Hunter Education Indoor Shooting Range (HEDR), in Fairbanks, Alaska, work cooperatively to host and conduct NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Classes for the public. AIM-COMM’s purpose is to foster the development of marksmanship, the safe and ethical use of firearms and to support and promote use of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Hunter Education Indoor Shooting Range, in Fairbanks, Alaska.
