NPT Annual Meeting at 6:00PM

The Newburyport Preservation Trust Board of Directors holds its annual meeting starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 16, at the Senior Community Center on High Street, Newburyport.

Board members will give a short recap of 2024, including educational events and advocacy for preservation of various buildings in the city. The review will also touch on the redesign of the Preservation Trust’s website and outreach efforts through Facebook and Instagram.

The meeting will be followed by keynote speaker Lee McColgan, author of “A House Restored,” who will talk about what he learned in the multi-year restoration of his 18th century house in Pembroke. A reception will follow along with a book signing by McColgan.
