Date & Time: 6/26/21 at 9am
Entry Deadline: Entries will be taken until the day before the contest but you must enter by 5/24/21 to have a T shirt included with entry. Due to our contractual obligations, all athletes that do not sign up before we order shirts must buy a contest T shirt for the show. We will sell them at cost (usually they are only $6-9).
Rules Meeting: 830am (ALL ATHLETES MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE TO COMPETE)
Weigh-in: Friday 6/25/21 from 8am-10am and 5-7pm at the contest venue.
Saturday 6/26/21 from 700am-800am at the contest venue.

Awards: $500 for top OPEN male and female athletes. $250 for all OPEN firt place winners & trophies & goody bags for 1-3rd place in all divisions/classes. *MUST have 5 competitors in each class for money to be available

Events:
1.) Axle Clean & Press Away
2.) Car Deadlift
3.) Yoke Carry 50ft Down and Back
4.) Truck/Sled Pull
5.) Keg Carry to Load for Reps
EVENT 1- Axle Clean & Press Away
Rules:
*Athlete can start with hands ON implement
*60 second time limit from judge's "go" command to complete as many reps as possible
*Wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk, grip shirts, belt with buckle or lever ALLOWED.
*Straps, suits, tacky/tacky towels, elbow/knee wraps NOT ALLOWED.
*Clean the axle once and press away. Multiple cleans slowed but not required. (push press, push/power jerk, split jerk, strict press etc)
*Elbows/knees must be extended and feet must be parallel to get the "down" call from judge. Must wait for down call for rep to be counted.

EVENT 2- Car Deadlift
Rules:
*60 second time limit from judge's signal.
*Wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk, belt, straps, hitching ALLOWED.
* Tacky/tacky towels, elbow/knee wraps, suits NOT ALLOWED.
*Hips/knees must be extended/locked out to get the "down" call from judge. Must wait for down call for rep to be counted and an UP call. NO TOUCH AND GO

EVENT 3- Yoke Carry
Rules:
*Athlete has 60 seconds to pick, carry a Yoke 50' down, re pick, then carry 50' back to the start line.
*Time will start on judge's "go" command. Athletes may start with hands ON the yoke.
*Belt, chalk, knee/elbow sleeves, wrist wraps allowed
*Suits, tacky/tacky towel, knee/elbow wraps, straps NOT ALLOWED
*Unlimited drops
*Yoke will start behind the start line so only the FRONT END must cross on the way down and the ENTIRE IMPLEMENT must cross to finish

EVENT 4- Truck/Sled Pull
Rules:
*Athlete will have 60 seconds from the judge's "go" command to pull truck/sled 50ft or as far as possible
*Belt, wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk ALLOWED.
*Suits, elbow/knee wraps, straps, tacky/tacky towel NOT ALLOWED.
*Competitor will be attached to a harness pulling the truck/sled with a rope (not arm over arm
EVENT 5- Keg Carry to Load
Rules:
*Athletes will have 60 seconds to carry keg 50ft and load over bar for as many reps as possible
*Athletes can start with hands on the implement
*The highest number of reps wins.
*Tacky towel, wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk, belt to the back ALLOWED.
*Tacky, suits, straps, elbow/knee wraps NOT ALLOWED.
*Athletes may not use the yoke/bar for leverage (i.e. no standing on yoke or grabbing cross bar to push with chest). They will be give a "no rep" for any reps completed in this fashion.
