Now's the Time: CCL Youth Climate Rally 2025

Have you ever wanted to support sustainability in San Mateo County? Well, now’s the time for collaborative efforts. Now’s the time for healthier, safer, better-educated, and stronger communities. Now’s the time for youth-led climate action. ✊🌎❤️‍🔥

You’re invited to the Citizens’ Climate Lobby San Mateo Youth Group’s annual climate rally in San Mateo Central Park on October 19th from 1:00–3:30 pm.

Join hundreds of local community members in marching 📢 around Downtown San Mateo to advocate for climate action 🌱. After the march, we will meet at the Main Stage in San Mateo Central Park to hear impassioned speeches 🎤 from local students and politicians alike. Then, learn how you can get involved in sustained climate action with local climate organizations, while we enjoy complementary food 🧁 and live music 🎶.

Now’s the time to register for our 2025 youth climate rally! 

Info: Meet our group around the Central Park stage. Bring a sign, friend, and be ready to march and chant! We'll also have many extra signs if you need it :) We'll get started marching promptly at 1PM.

Info: Join us in marching through Downtown San Mateo and El Camino. Our total route will track 12 blocks with a marching band and police escort. The pace will be relaxed, but please bring a peppy spirit!

Info: We'll regroup around the Central Park stage to hear from the most brilliant climate activists and legislators around San Mateo County. Our incredible speaker lineup includes Assemblymember Diane Papan and CCL student speakers.

Info: Have an eco-poem, policy, or even just *thought* that you've wanted to share with the community? Well, now's your chance! All audience members will be invited to share anything they would like onstage for up to 2 minutes.

Info: Stick around after our rally and speakers to learn how to sustain your climate action through a variety of organizations like Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL), Sustinable San Mateo County (SSMC), and other youth climate organizations. We'll also have live music and LOTS of free food!
