Join Tatyanna Meharry and Carrie Dingwall and create a series of small dimensional works based on exploring the diverse and secretive lives of native moths.Look closer and use paper, stitch and print embossing to play with the unique way in which moths use clever symbiotic camouflage with their host plants.
This workshop is 90mins and has a maximum of 12 students.
About The Artists
Tatyanna Meharry is a ceramicist who works in her small home studio in Christchurch. Her work is found in galleries and stores throughout New Zealand. She is inspired by the her local environment and uses foraged materials in her work. All her ceramics are created as treasures to become part of their owners life stories.
Carrie Dingwall's (formal) art journey began at the Dunedin School of Fine Arts where she majored in Printmaking. This was a formative experience where her art practice involved Woodcuts, Screen printing and Etching. In recent years Carrie has been teaching Printmaking from her home studio.
