In April of 1965, the first meetings of what would become The Unitarian Fellowship of Kelowna took place, but we wouldn’t legally become a society until May 1966. This Sunday, we kick off a year of events to mark this anniversary, beginning with the story of how this gathering started. There WILL be cake! And if you have any ancient photos from folks back then, please loan them to Marilyn.Presenters: Rev. Brian Kiely and Marilyn Raymond

ABOUT KELOWNA UNITARIANS
Kelowna Unitarians is a liberal, religious, spiritual community; we take seriously our commitment to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We welcome, recognize and celebrate the inherent worth and dignity in ourselves and each other regardless of all the ‘isms’ that might divide us. We are a designated ‘Welcoming Community’ which means we intentionally work to make this a safe place for the LGBTQ2SI+ community. We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, history and spirituality but are aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good.
