South Berkeley Chamber Ensemble proudly presents Victor Mavedzenge’s “Now here-Nowhere,” his compelling story of the politics of immigration from Zimbabwe to America and his evocative exploration of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Featuring world-renowned musical guests Kelly Takunda Orphan, Wamkanganise Nagaadza, and Mbira dzaSoko, our diasporic program will include jazz works performed by saxophonist Greg Brown, double bassist Mike Boone, and jazz pianist Geoff Carter.
