It’s starting to look a lot like Hogswatch! And the start of the Year of the Luminous Lemur!!
And that means it’s time for the annual Victorian Discworld Klatch picnic in the Gardens.
The picnic is at Southgate FoodCourt. It is a short walk from Flinders Street Station and on the south bank of the Yarra River. There is limited parking along Boathouse Drive and possible parking at the NGV/Art Centre.
We will be picnicking in the air conditioning at Southgate Foodcourt .
Who: anyone that likes reading, or listening to, the world of Terry Pratchett and enjoys a good picnic with friends What to bring: optional food & drinks, plates, cutlery, napkins, etc. Or buy food at the food court. Optional for protection on the way: Sunscreen, jacket or umbrella. It’s Melbourne, any weather is possible, and it will be hot enough to melt a troll's head, or at least slow right down to be a rock.
